Club Meetings

On May 11, 2013, 11:00, Pavilion 2, Lakeshore Park, Brandon, MS, the club will meet and also celebrate its Annual Award Winners with a pot luck picnic.  Members, please bring a dish.  Grill-masters, Jim F. and Jim J. will do the hamburgers and hot dogs!

Dr. Jean Dodds, DVM Seminar

....was a huge success!                      Of the 82 people who registered, 72 were able to attend.  Mississippi was well represented, and we were thrilled to have out of state attendees from Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Arkansas!  Check out our PICTURES from this incredible day with Dr. Dodds!

Friday, November 1st: Obedience Match Saturday,November 2nd : All Breed Conformation Show with Best Bred By Exhibitor Competition, Obedience & Rally Trials, 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, Conformation & Obedience Matches. Sunday, November 3rd: All Breed Conformation Show, Obedience & Rally Trials, 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition. Location:Rankin County Multi Purpose Pavilion, Brandon, MS 

 

 

 
BKC Mission/Purpose

The objectives of the club are:

  • to further the advancement of all breeds of pure-bred dogs
  • to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of dog shows and obedience trials and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at such events
  • to conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, performance events under the rules of the American Kennel Club
  • to encourage ethical conduct and promote interest in the responsible breeding of purebred dogs and do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection
  • to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of their breed as approved by the American Kennel Club
  • to educate the public in the above objectives, promote the general welfare of dogs, and responsible dog ownership.
